Toon in training: Magpies get set for Seagulls showdown

Saturday sees Newcastle United welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to St. James' Park for what will be the Magpies' final home game of the season (kick-off 3pm BST).

Eddie Howe's side are still in pursuit of a European spot and their recent big wins over Sheffield United and Burnley have buoyed spirits in the United camp as they look to finish the campaign strongly in front of their own supporters.

With only away games at Manchester United and Brentford to come next week after the visit of the Seagulls, Howe's men are hitting form at the right time and they will hope the black and white faithful can create a special atmosphere to help them see off Roberto De Zerbi's outfit for one final triumph on Tyneside this term.

Serena Taylor was at the Magpies' Benton training centre on Wednesday morning to bring newcastleunited.com this gallery as preparations for the all-important 2023/24 run-in continue.
