Toon in training: Preparing for Dortmund date

Newcastle United are Germany-bound this week as they take on Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday evening (kick-off 5:45pm GMT/6:45pm CET).

The clash with the Bundesliga giants on matchday four is a re-run of the meeting between the two sides at St. James' Park a fortnight ago, when only Felix Nmecha's strike for Die Borussen separated the teams.

But the Magpies have been in fine form since then, earning a point at Wolves before knocking holders Manchester United out of the Carabao Cup with a brilliant 3-0 win at Old Trafford.

And on Saturday Eddie Howe's side turned in another fine display as they ended Arsenal's unbeaten start to the season with a 1-0 victory on Tyneside, meaning they head to Germany full of confidence.

In front of the cameras, Howe put his charges through their paces in Benton before their flight on Monday, and Serena Taylor brought nufc.co.uk this gallery.
