Accessible Services

We offer a wide range of accessibility features designed to support disabled supporters and those with additional access requirements. Available services and facilities include:

  • Accessible seating options, including wheelchair user areas and easy-access seating

  • Lift access in the Milburn, Gallowgate and Leazes Stands

  • Alternative entrance points away from standard turnstiles

  • Accessible toilet facilities

  • Hearing loop systems

  • Audio descriptive commentary services

  • Accessible drop counters at selected kiosks

  • Emergency reserve seating for temporarily disabled supporters

  • Sensory support provisions, including headphones and sensory toys available on request

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking spaces are allocated through an online ballot system for registered Blue Badge holders.

To register, please email [email protected] with:

  • A copy of your Blue Badge

  • Your supporter number

  • Vehicle registration details

Once registered, you'll be able to apply for available parking ballots through your online ticketing account.

Accessible Drop-Off & Pick-Up

If you require an accessible drop-off, vehicles can enter the stadium car park as normal and our matchday team will direct drivers to the safest and most suitable location possible.

Please note:

  • Accessible drop-off is NOT affected by the Barrack Road closure.

  • Accessible pick-up IS affected by the Barrack Road closure and can only take place once the road has reopened.

Sensory Room

Sensory Room

Our dedicated Sensory Room has been designed to support neurodiverse supporters who may find the traditional matchday environment overwhelming. The facility includes two dedicated spaces: Match Viewing Area A viewing area overlooking the stadium, located behind a soundproof glass screen, allowing you to enjoy the match in a quieter environment. Sensory Space A calming therapeutic area featuring:

  • Sensory lighting

  • Sensory toys

  • Comfortable seating

  • A quieter environment away from the crowds and noise

The Sensory Room provides a quieter environment for those who may find certain aspects of matchday overwhelming.

Tickets are available in pairs, including one space for the supporter and one for a parent, guardian or personal assistant. To access the Sensory Room, supporters must:

  • Be registered as a disabled supporter

  • Hold a current club membership

  • Meet the eligibility criteria for the facility

As availability is limited, the Sensory Room is intended for supporters who are unable to sit in the general seating areas due to their disability.
