Anthony Gordon and Dan Burn
Gordon was on target for England as they made sure of their place at the 2026 World Cup with a comfortable 5-0 win over Latvia on Tuesday.
The Magpies man got England off to a fine start, scoring his second international goal with a trademark low finish after cutting in from the left flank.
He was a threat all night until his withdrawal on 71 minutes, with club teammate Burn among those sent on for the final stages at the Daugava Stadium in Riga as England book their place at next summer's finals in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
United winger Gordon had played the full 90 minutes for England on Thursday night as Thomas Tuchel's men comfortably beat Wales 3-0 in a friendly at Wembley.
Morgan Rogers, Ollie Watkins and Bukayo Saka were all on target, scoring past ex-Magpies stopper Karl Darlow in the first half for the Three Lions as they eased past a Wales side managed by former Newcastle frontman Craig Bellamy.
Gordon turned in a lively, dangerous display on the flank for his country on that occasion too, while defender Burn was an unused substitute.
Sandro Tonali
Tonali played almost the full game for his side on his 29th outing for Italy on Tuesday, as the Azzurri beat Israel 3-0 in Udine.
The midfielder was yellow-carded late on in the straightforward victory at the Bluenergy Stadium for Gennaro Gattuso's side, who now trail World Cup qualifying Group I leaders Norway by just three points.
Gattuso's men had also claimed a 3-1 away win against Estonia on Saturday night, with Tonali playing the full game at the Lilleküla Stadium in Tallinn.
Nick Woltemade
The Bremen-born forward was named in the Germany squad ahead of this month's World Cup qualifying double-header against Luxembourg and Northern Ireland and despite being unable to travel, after succumbing to a flu-like infection, reported to his country's headquarters on Wednesday.
Julian Nagelsmann's men moved into top spot of Group A on Friday evening following a 4-0 win against ten-man Luxembourg, with Woltemade playing the opening 61 minutes at the PreZero Arena.
The in-form striker netted his first senior international goal during Germany's 1-0 win against Northern Ireland on Monday night, guiding the ball home from David Raum's corner, before being substituted during stoppage-time as the four-time World champions took a step closer towards automatic qualification for next summer's World Cup finals.
Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton
The midfield duo have both been included in the Brazil squad for their respective friendlies against South Korea and Japan.
Carlo Ancelotti's side claimed an emphatic 5-0 win against South Korea at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Friday, with Guimarães playing the opening 79 minutes as well as grabbing an excellent assist for Brazil's opening goal, converted by Chelsea forward Estêvão. Joelinton was an unused substitute.
The five-time World champions suffered a shock 3-2 defeat against Japan on Tuesday despite leading by two goals at half-time, with Guimarães starting the game before being replaced by Joelinton in the 57th minute at the Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo.
Leo Shahar
The 18-year-old right-back was named in the England Under-19s squad ahead of two games against Belgium and Wales.
The teenage defender, who made his full debut for his country at under-19 level last month, was in action during England's 4-1 win against Belgium on Saturday, entering the field of play in the 67th minute at the Marbella Football Centre.
The Young Lions made it two wins from two after an impressive 7-0 thrashing of Wales at La Quinta Football Centre on Tuesday, with Shahar playing the opening 67 minutes in Spain.
Anthony Elanga
The right winger, who has accrued 24 senior caps, has been named in the Sweden squad ahead of their respective World Cup qualifiers against Switzerland and Kosovo.
Jon Dahl Tomasson's side remained at the foot of Group B following a 2-0 defeat against Switzerland at the Friends Arena on Friday night. Elanga was an unused substitute.
The Swedes then suffered a disappointing 1-0 loss against Kosovo on Monday evening, with Elanga introduced from the substitutes' bench at the restart in place of Tottenham Hotspur's Lucas Bergvall but the 23-year-old winger was unable to inspire his country to a positive result at the Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg.
Alex Murphy
The Galway-born defender, who featured as a substitute in the Magpies' 4-1 Carabao Cup win against Bradford City last month, was named in the Republic of Ireland Under-21s squad for a European Under-21 Championship qualifier against Slovakia.
Ireland's youngsters were held to a 2-2 draw against their Slovakian counterparts at Turners Cross on Friday night, with Murphy an unused substitute for the game in Cork.
Lewis Hall and Lewis Miley
The Magpies youngsters were selected in the England Under-21s squad ahead of two European Under-21 Championship qualifiers against Moldova and Andorra but the highly-rated pair will play no part in the fixtures after both withdrawing from the camp due to injury.
