Programmes
On your way in, remember to collect the first of our new-look matchday programme for the 26/27 season, which are available from the North & South entrances to the Tyne & Wear Stand, with limited copies also at the main reception and retail outlet
12:40 – Pack out your matchday
Once you’re in the stadium, there’s plenty to do before kick-off.
Entertainment and activities
Fan-favourite Paige Temperly from ‘Howay Again’ will be performing live pre-match in the Mick Thornton Suite, with her first set starting at 12:40. This is the best way to soak up the atmosphere before the game with fellow supporters, and why not grab a drink – which you can take to your seat– and enjoy some tunes.
Bringing younger kids? Get to the stadium early to ensure you don’t miss the chance to get a high-five and have your selfie taken with club mascots Monty and Maggie. We also have our Creative Zone open, where you can get stuck into some Toon-themed crafts; this can be found in room 10, just off the concourse. Plus, head to the Fanzone pitchside for some complimentary face paint!
Also, in the fan zone area, our partner, KNOX Hydrate, will be handing out free samples of their refreshing drinks, as well as putting on activities for you to take part in pre-match and half-time.
Food and Drink
Tuck into pies, sausage rolls, chips, and hot dogs from the catering outlets along the concourse or grab a cheese toastie or pizza slice at the main reception. Head to the pitch-side Fan Zone for Ramble & Roast coffee and hot chocolate, plus the Ice Cream van.
Drinking in the bowl is here to stay for the 26/27 season. So, if you fancy an alcoholic drink, you’re welcome to take it to your seat with you. Of course, in the concourse there will be hot and cold drinks available throughout the afternoon.
Merchandise
If you have been eager to get the latest Newcastle United kit and look like your favourite Lasses player? Well, merchandise is available at the south end of the Tyne & Wear stand, with a larger retail pop-up store in the Mick Thornton Suite.
13:00 – Team news announced on social media
Don’t miss the first starting line-up of 26/27 – It goes live across social media before being read out in the stadium bowl as players warm up.
13:15 – Players out to warm up
With 45 minutes to go until kick-off, the players will be out to warm up. This is the perfect time to show off those new chants.
You will also be able to get a look at the team’s new warm-up range, available from the merchandise store, and see our new signings in action.
13:50 – Countdown to kick-off
Make sure to get those last-minute drinks, snacks and selfies, because you’ll want to be in your seat to soak up all the atmosphere ahead of our new season beginning.
14:00 – Kick-off
Grab a flag, be loud, be proud and give our Lasses a huge Geordie welcome onto the pitch and cheer them on to a winning start.
14:45 – Half-Time
Approximately 14:45, depending on stoppage time. With the 15-minute break, you can grab food and drinks, enjoy the music, pick up some merchandise or head to the Creative or Fan Zone.
15:45 - 16:00 – Full-Time
After the final whistle, you’ll be able to see the players leave the pitch, with some available for selfies and autographs for a short time in front of the pitch-side barriers.
Accessibility: If you use a wheelchair, you can access all areas via the lift near the Sports Hall - our stewards are here to help.
