England international Nobbs was an influential figure in midfield for the Magpies as they enjoyed a superb month before the festive break, with the 33-year-old netting the winner in their 1-0 victory over Southampton which kick-started the month.
After a thumping 4-0 win over Liverpool Feds in the Adobe Women's FA Cup, Nobbs was on target again in the 2-1 league win at Portsmouth just before Christmas as United continued their fine run under Tanya Oxtoby, who has won all three of her games in charge since he appointment in November.
Nobbs is shortlisted alongside Emily Syme of Bristol City, Kirsty Howat of Crystal Palace and Aimee Claypole of Nottingham Forest.
