Defender Torpey - who joined the Magpies in January after spending time with Portland Thorns in the NWSL - was named in the Australia squad ahead of this year's AFC Women's Asian Cup, with the tournament taking place on home soil.

And the 25-year-old made her Asian Cup bow in her side's 4-0 win over Iran at the Gold Coast Stadium on Thursday, coming off the bench after 71 minutes with the scoring already complete.

The Matildas had kicked off their campaign on Sunday with a 1-0 win over the Philippines at Perth Stadium, with Sam Kerr on target with her first international goal in 28 months. Torpey was an unused substitute in the victory,

Joe Montemurro's side will now face South Korea at the Accor Stadium in Sydney on Sunday, 8th March (kick-off 9am GMT) to round off Group A, with a first AFC Women's Asian Cup title since 2010 their aim this month.

Freya Gregory

Gregory was handed her eighth senior cap for Scotland as Melissa Andreatta's side kicked off their FIFA Women's World Cup qualifying campaign with a 5-0 win against Luxembourg Women on Tuesday night.

Gregory played the opening 73 minutes at Stade Municipal Emile Mayrisch in Esch-sur-Alzette on Tuesday night, as Caroline Weir's hat-trick and goals from Jenna Clark and Kathleen McGovern sealed a comfortable win

Scotland Women return to Hampden Park in Glasgow to face the same opposition on Saturday, 7th March (kick-off 5pm GMT).

Aoife Mannion and Emily Murphy

The Magpies pair were named in the Republic of Ireland Women squad ahead of two 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifiers against France and the Netherlands.

Éire suffered a 2-1 defeat against France at the Tallaght Stadium on Tuesday evening. Mannion and Murphy both played the full 90 minutes as Melvine Malard's late brace cancelled out Katie McCabe's early opener in Dublin.

Republc of Ireland Women face the Netherlands in Utrecht on Saturday, 7th March (kick-off 7:45pm GMT) in their second Group A2 fixture.

Anna Tamminen and Oona Sevenius

The Magpies pair were both named in the Finland squad ahead of two Women's World Cup qualifying fixtures against Portugal and Latvia.

Helmarit began their Group B3 campaign with a 2-0 defeat Portugal at the Estádio Capital do Móvel on Tuesday, conceding twice in stoppage-time.

Sevenius appeared from the bench in the 59th minute, making her 33rd senior cap in the process, while Tamminen was an unused substitute.

Finland Women host Latvia at the Helsinki Football Stadium four days later (kick-off 12:30pm GMT) as they aim to reach next year's finals in Brazil.

Lois Joel

Joel - who was part of the Wales squad for their historic appearance at UEFA Women's EURO 2025 - has again been called up for their Women's World Cup qualifiers against Czechia and Montenegro.

Wales came from behind twice to salvage a 2-2 draw against Czechia in Uherské Hradiště on Tuesday. Joel was an unused substitute.

Rhian Wilkinson's side return to Parc y Scarlets in Llanelli to play Montenegro on Saturday, 7th March (kick-off 4:30pm GMT).

Shania Hayles

Forward Hayles bagged the winner for Jamaica as they sealed a 3-2 win over Nicaragua in their 2027 World Cup qualifier on Monday.

The Magpies star started for the Reggae Girlz and, after Khadija Shaw's brace, stepped up to net the decisive goal with 22 minutes left to secure the three points.

It was the 26-year-old's second goal in eight appearances for her country, having netted her first in Jamaica's remarkable 18-0 win over Dominica in November 2025.

Charlotte Wardlaw and Jasmine McQuade

The United pair both featured for Scotland Under-23s as they were beaten 4-0 by the Netherlands on Monday.

Michael McArdle's side were second best at the Sarens PSG Stadium in Inverness after Liz Rijsbergen's brace and strikes from Lynne Groenewegen and Addie Handley, with Wardlaw playing the full 90 minutes and McQuade coming off the bench for the final five minutes.
