Matthias Jaissle's side have been busy this week, putting in the hard yards at the KNOX training centre ahead of the trip to the capital.

The Magpies are hoping to bounce back from Monday's reversal against Everton, taking on a Fulham side who have earned seven points from their last three Premier League games.

Addressing the media on Thursday, United's head coach said: "You see players, in their faces, they want to show a reaction. We need to step up in all the things we can influence, use every situation to make the smaller details better."

Ahead of the Fulham clash, our club photographer Serena Taylor was on hand to capture one of Jaissle's sessions - and you can check them out in the gallery below.
