Newcastle United are back in action following a three-week break as they head to Crystal Palace [kick-off Sunday 2pm BST].

The Magpies have seven games to go as they eye a late push into the Premier League's European positions.

Eddie Howe has had the majority of his senior stars back at the club's Benton base this week, with positive news on the injury front when it comes to Lewis Miley. The midfielder has been sidelined since January after picking up a dead leg.

"Lewy (Miley)'s trained and trained well with us so that's a great thing for us to see because we've missed him massively," the Newcastle United boss told reporters.

Howe did, however, admit this weekend's Selhurst Park clash would come too soon for captain Bruno Guimarães.

Friday's training included the likes of Yoane Wissa, Sandro Tonali and Anthony Elanga following their international exploits, while Sven Botman was also involved following his successful facial surgery in recent weeks.

And we were in position to capture some key moments from the session before the return of Premier League football this weekend.
