Newcastle United forward Nick Woltemade has been nominated for the Premier League Guinness Goal of the Month award for October.

The German international's superb flick drew the Magpies level at Brighton earlier this month in a game they eventually lost 2-1.

But the summer signing - who has netted six times for United since his summer switch from Stuttgart - caught the eye with his excellent improvised finish from Lewis Miley's low cross at the Amex Stadium.

Also on the shortlist are Bournemouth duo Antoine Semenyo and Justin Kluivert, Burnley's Zian Flemming and Loum Tchaouna, Moises Caicedo of Chelsea, Emi Buendia of Aston Villa and Liverpool's Mo Salah.

Voting opens at 1pm GMT on Thursday, 30th October, and Magpies supporters can vote for Woltemade by clicking here. The winner will be announced at 1pm GMT on Friday, 7th November.
