A representative of England at U15 and U16 level, Kouossu scored on his first start for Newcastle's Under-18s side during an U18 Premier League North clash against Manchester City in February 2026.
Kouossu made seven appearances for Chris Moore's side last season, including four league starts, before signing a full-time scholarship with the Magpies.
The central midfielder made his Under-21s debut at the age of 16 during a Premier League 2 clash away at Leeds United in September 2026.
