Thompson, who is capped at Under-17 level for England, joined Arsenal from West Ham United ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, making his debut at Under-18 level later that season aged 15.
He made his Premier League 2 debut for Arsenal’s Under-21 side last season and featured three times in Arsenal Under-19’s UEFA Youth League campaign, scoring in a 4-2 victory against Bayern Munich.
