The forward made the centre-forward position his own towards the end of the 2025/26 campaign, scoring some important goals in April and May.
Born in Copenhagen, Osula started his youth career in the Danish capital before moving to South Yorkshire and joining Sheffield United's youth set-up in 2018.
Capable of playing as a striker or from the flanks, Osula signed his first professional contract with the Blades in 2021 and enjoyed a loan spell with Derby County during the 2022-23 season, before arriving in the North East to add further options to Eddie Howe's squad ahead of the 2024/25 season.
He made his debut for the Magpies as a substitute at Fulham in September 2024, before making his home debut - and first start - in the Carabao Cup win over AFC Wimbledon at St. James' Park the following month.
The business end of the 2025/26 saw Osula earn regular minutes as United's out-and-out centre-forward. The youngster won the Sela Player of the Month award for both April and May, netting five goals in the final seven Premier League fixtures.
