Tickets for the Sela Cup, presented by VisitMalta, on sale now

Tickets for the inaugural Sela Cup, presented by VisitMalta, at St. James' Park are now on sale.

Taking place over Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th August, the tournament will form part of the Magpies' pre-season preparations and will see Eddie Howe's side in action against Italian side Fiorentina and Spain's Villarreal over consecutive days, with French outfit Nice also competing for the trophy.

Newcastle United Women will also feature in a spectacular weekend of football on Tyneside, taking on West Bromwich Albion Women at teatime on Saturday, 5th August in their first match at St. James’ Park since lifting the FA Women's National League Division One North title in May and turning professional.

Tickets were released for general sale at 3pm on Friday, 7th July, with one ticket per supporter number and a maximum of six tickets in any one transaction.  

The schedule for the Sela Cup, presented by VisitMalta, is:

Saturday, 5th August
Villarreal CF v OGC Nice (kick-off 12:30pm BST)
Newcastle United v ACF Fiorentina (kick-off 3:30pm BST)
Newcastle United Women v West Bromwich Albion Women (kick-off 6pm BST)

Sunday, 6th August
OGC Nice v ACF Fiorentina (kick-off 1pm BST)
Newcastle United v Villarreal CF (kick-off 4pm BST)

TICKET INFORMATION

Day tickets for Saturday or Sunday will be priced at £30 for adults and £15 for concessions.

Weekend tickets will be priced at £55 for adults and £25 for concessions. This package is available until Monday, 31st July and to secure the discount, both games must be purchased together and contain an equal quantity of tickets at the same age band (eg one adult ticket for Saturday bought with a junior for Sunday will not qualify as a package).  

Matchday prices will be £35 for adults and £20 concessions, strictly subject to availability. These games are anticipated to be busy and supporters are encouraged to buy early to secure tickets.     

Initially all areas of the Lower Bowl will be open.

Please note the Gallowgate East Corner (excluding Block A) is now a safe standing seating area. If you wish to remain seated throughout the match, please select an alternative area of the stadium.     

DIGITAL TICKETING

Digital ticketing will be in operation for the first time across St. James' Park and supporters are advised to arrive early to avoid any possible queuing.

Digital tickets can be scanned on arrival via mobile phones, with more information and FAQs to be emailed to ticket holders in due course.

Please note, supporters need to be logged in to their account to complete ticket purchases.

If you want to assign tickets/buy on behalf of other supporter numbers, your accounts need to be linked.

Once you reach first place in the queue, you have ten minutes to enter the site to continue your purchase - if you do not do this, your queue number will be rejected.
