Darren England will be the referee for Newcastle United's Premier League clash against Crystal Palace at St. James' Park (kick-off 7.30pm BST).

Eddie Howe's side welcome Oliver Glasner's Eagles to Tyneside and this will be the third time England has officiated a fixture involving the Magpies so far this season.

The Doncaster-born official was the man in the middle for United's reverse fixture against Palace - a 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park in November - and booked six players that afternoon, including Joe Willock, Anthony Gordon and Callum Wilson.

The 39-year-old, a FIFA listed referee since 2022, also oversaw Newcastle's 3-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers in January and handed out two yellow cards that evening at St. James' Park, booking no United players.
