The Toon teenagers netted twice in the first half at the Magpies' Little Benton Academy, taking the lead inside ten minutes following Ethan Low's own goal before Noah Morgan, captaining the hosts, quickly doubled the host's lead with his first strike at Under-18 level.
Ty Livesey halved the deficit for Rovers on the hour mark but Newcastle regained their two-goal cushion within seconds courtesy of Alfie Seldon's effort, the 16-year-old winger's fourth goal in his opening three league matches.
Newcastle extended their lead further through Jack Skelton before Scottish striker Alfie Hutchison, who provided assists for Seldon and Skelton, got his name on the scoresheet in the closing stages.
Fifteen-year-old midfielder Charlie Robinson, who captained England at Under-16 level earlier this week, added gloss to the scoreline with his first goal at Under-18 level as Chris Moore's side continued their 100 per cent winning start to the 2026/27 league campaign.
The young Magpies are back in Under-18 Premier League North action on Saturday 5 September when facing an away clash against Leicester City at the Foxes' Training Ground (kick-off 1pm BST).
