United have made three additions so far this January transfer window, with Kaitlyn Torpey, Emilia Larsson and, most recently, Ashanti Akpan joining the Lasses ahead of a big second half of the season.

Oxtoby, who had picked Cooper for every game during her tenure until last week's Adobe Women's FA Cup clash against West Ham United Women, has admitted she will be without the 32-year-old 'for a few weeks'.

She spoke ahead of this Sunday's game in the capital. Here are some of the main talking points:

On Deanna Cooper's injury...

"I think everyone has seen that Deanna (Cooper) is in a brace, so it's a tough one for us because she's an integral part of the squad.

"We'll be without her for a few weeks. It's really disappointing for her, but now we wish her well."

On taking positives from the cup defeat to West Ham Women...

"I think there were a lot of good learnings for us from the game, and if you look at the game statistically, we were right in it, but (what happened) in both boxes cost us.

"So from that perspective, we've been working and focusing on that this week, and I know the players are ready to put that right."

On Charlton...

"They've been consistent; you just have to look at how efficient they've been, and the fact that they're unbeaten, they're there for a reason.

"From our perspective, we need to make sure that we match the areas in which they bring their strengths and from a clinical point of view, we start to put our chances away."

On the new signings...

"They are three really exciting players who all have different attributes.

"They've trained well this week, so I'm looking forward to welcoming them into the squad and seeing how they perform.

"It's always nice to have new faces in and around the group that bring quality as well, and they're also adding to our culture and adding to the environment off the pitch."
