The versatile defender joined United from French side Amiens in 2019.
Capable of lining up as a full back or a central defender, the right-footed stopper began his career with Lagans AIK in his homeland, Sweden. From there, he moved on to Osters IF and Helsingborgs, before making the switch to Serie A, joining Bologna in 2015.
Krafth spent four years in Italy before heading to Ligue 1, joining Amiens on loan before making the move permanent in 2019.
He went on to link up with the Magpies that summer and has become a reliable, committed member of both the club's Premier League squad and the Sweden national team.
Krafth was part of his country's squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, where they reached the quarter-finals before being eliminated by England, and the 2020 European Championships.
