Miley became Newcastle United's youngest ever Premier League debutant when he featured for his boyhood club on the final day of the 2022/23 season away at Chelsea.
The highly-rated midfielder, who has represented England at under-17 level, made his bow for United's under-21 side during a Papa John’s Trophy clash against Doncaster Rovers in August 2022 before making his first team debut in a 5-0 win against Al-Hilal during the Magpies' trip to Riyadh in December 2022.
Lewis, who is the younger brother of fellow United midfielder Jamie, scored his first senior goal against the Cottagers at St. James' Park in December 2023 and enjoyed a fine first season with the first team, making 26 appearances across all competitions - including the Champions League.
Miley broke a record previously held by Hugo Viana when he scored his first UEFA Champions League goal in a 2–2 away draw with Bayer Leverkusen in 2025, becoming the youngest Newcastle player to achieve this feat since 2002.
In the 2025/26 season, Miley struggled with some injury issues but returned to the first-team in the latter stages of the campaign, filling in at right-back expertly.
