Toon in training: The Devil's in the detail

After last week's training camp in Dubai, the majority of Newcastle United's first team squad were back in Benton and hard at work as Sunday's return to Premier League action draws closer.

United welcome Manchester United to St. James' Park this weekend (4:30pm kick-off) in what will be their first game back following March's international break, with a game of head tennis easing them into Tuesday morning's session as preparations continue for their clash with Newcastle's opponents in last month's Carabao Cup final.

Most of those called up by their countries, including England's Kieran Trippier and Nick Pope, were back with the rest of the Magpies' squad after their international commitments, while Alexander Isak is on his way back after featuring for Sweden over the past fortnight.

Also among those getting ready for the visit of the Red Devils was centre back Sven Botman, who missed out on a full debut for the Netherlands with illness recently.

Club photographer Serena Taylor brought nufc.co.uk this gallery from United's training centre.
