Toon in training: United's wolf pack

For the first time this season, Newcastle United have lost two Premier League games in a row - but they have a chance to end that streak when they welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to St. James' Park on Sunday afternoon.

The men from Molineux have seen an upturn in form under former Spain and Real Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui since he took charge in November, but Newcastle will be determined to bounce back from a maiden home defeat of the campaign when they were beaten 2-0 by Liverpool after going down to ten men in their last outing on Tyneside.

Nick Pope returned from his one-match suspension at Manchester City last time out, but Joelinton has picked up a two-game ban following his tenth booking of the season at the Etihad Stadium.

Fabian Schär missed that fixture but was back in training on Wednesday, although Jamaal Lascelles' performance against the champions means the Switzerland international has a fight on his hands to get back into the team. Club photographer Serena Taylor brought nufc.co.uk this gallery as the Magpies geared up for the game.
