Eddie Howe's side travel to Anfield to face the Premier League champions on Saturday, 31st January (kick-off 8pm GMT) and, following consultation with Newcastle United season ticket holders, a revised process will be introduced for selling away match tickets for the 2025/26 season in response to our survey, which saw over 8,000 season ticket holders cast their vote on the away ticket allocation process.
Outlined below are the key dates and timings for the Liverpool ticket sale:
Phase 1 – Monday 29th December – 2pm
Ticket application opens for all Season ticket holders to apply for a ticket for this fixture.
Phase 2 – Tuesday 30th December – 2pm
Ticket application window closes. The club will process all submissions, allocating tickets in loyalty point order We will also ballot a small number of tickets to those who do not meet the loyalty points threshold.
Phase 3 – Wednesday 31st December – 2pm
Supporters who are successful in the application process will now be emailed with a window to go online and purchase their ticket(s) for the fixture. Tickets will be sold using a ‘select your own seat’ model, giving fans the flexibility to choose where they sit and who they sit alongside - whether friends or family.
This system removes the need for travel groups as supporters can make seat selections directly during the purchase window.
Phase 4 – Friday 2nd January – 2pm
Once the purchase window for successful applicants closes, any remaining tickets that haven’t been purchased will be offered to those who applied for the fixture and fall within the next tier of loyalty points below the point at which sales were previously fulfilled. For example, a fixture sells out at 10 loyalty points, tickets will then be offered to supporters who applied for tickets with 9 loyalty points.

Additional Information
The visitors’ section is a licensed safe standing area. Seats on rows 6 to 35 are rail seats within this licenced safe standing area. Seats on rows 1 to 5 will be sold to those wishing to remain seated, supporters in these seats will be challenged if they stand persistently throughout the game.
There are a small number of Restricted Views seats in our allocation. Purchasing a Restricted View seat is acceptance of this view and no refunds can be given outside of our Away Ticket Terms & Conditions.
Row 1 – Restriction is caused by personnel movement.
Rows 2-5 – Restriction is caused by the wheelchair platform.
Upgrades on concessionary tickets are not permitted.
There may be age checks on all concession tickets, please carry the appropriate ID in the event of such checks.
Tickets will be in digital format.
Please note Anfield is a cashless stadium.
Safeguarding
Children under 16 are not permitted to attend unless accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over. Any child attending the game without an accompanying adult will be refused entry.
Clarification of ID may also be requested and admittance refused if ID cannot be provided or parents cannot be contacted.
Ticket Spot Checks
ID checks will continue for the 2025/26 season to uphold the integrity of the loyalty point system.
Please note all tickets are for the sole use of the supporter making the purchase under their Newcastle United supporter number and are strictly non-transferable.
